PT. SAS Heavy Industry, a well established heavy steel fabricator located in Batam, Indonesia in the field of engineering and construction for offshore oil & gas industry and power industry, would like to invite bright applicants having strong characters, for the position of :
1. QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ ESTIMATOR (QSE-SHI) (Based in BATAM)
Requirement:
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Min. 5 years relevant experience
Independent and well-versed in all aspects of estimating cost control and contractual matters, able to support the Project Manager in the preparation of quantity and estimates for sub-contractors, progress payments claim and project correspondence
Must be willing to be based in Batam
2. QA ENGINEER (QAE-SHI) (Based in BATAM)
Requirement:
S1, university degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
Shall be certified as LEAD AUDITOR for ISO 9001 & preferably registered with IRCA and as a minimum have a Bachelor Degree in engineering from a reputable university
Should be able to work independently & consistently under a challenging onshore construction environment
Min 5 years hands on experience in a similar position/ organization
Familiarity with international codes/ standards is a must with a good technical skill in the evaluation & interpretation of various technical requirements in the oil & gas and power industries
Good command of English language with self-confidence & pleasing personality to deal with all level & nationals is essential
Must be willing o be based in Batam
Responsibilities:
Daily coordination of yard QA activities for all projects
Planning & performing internal & vendor audits
Ensuring all contractors adhere to schedule quality plans with adequate resources provided to the yard
Maintaining a robust cross checking/ process audit register
Assuring that corrective & preventive actions are attended to, on time with adequate actions
Documentation & KPI record keeping for performance measurements
Review / approval / distribution of all QA procedures
Conducting quality related reviews with functional department and conducting training for quality awareness in the company
