Our Client is recognised as a World Class Global organization with offices on every Continent. The Singapore office is the hub of its Asia activities and the leader in the development and execution of major Process Plant and Civil & Structure Infrastructure solutions to its Clients across the region. With the substantial growth in its operations and the planned growth to be achieved, they seek a technically competent, innovative, solutions and team orientated Engineering Manager to continue to develop and lead the company’s Infrastructure Engineering Resources on an ever-growing range of exciting projects across Asia.
Requirements:
This role can be best described as been a mix of Technical and People Management Responsibilities. Ideally we want that special blend of Technical/Engineering Expertise coupled with the ability to lead and develop your team of professional engineers and designers. The ability to innovate and provide cost effective and functional solutions will also be a key requirement of your role. We also seek proven ability to effectively allocate resources, prioritise activities and manage risk across your area of responsibility. Ideally you will be a Tertiary Qualified Professionally Engineer with at least 15 years experience within either an Engineering Consultancy or Engineering Contractor where you have direct hands on experience in the Design of Civil & Structural Infrastructure for Process Plant & other Projects. Your experience could be in areas such as Oil & Gas, Petro-chem, Mining & Minerals, Power Generation or other multi-disciplinary fields. Experience within the Asia region will be well regarded but is not mandatory.
Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Divisional General Manager in Singapore, you will work with key peers in the fields of Design and Project Management both locally and internationally to successfully execute projects across the region. Your key accountabilities can be summarised as effectively managing and allocating resources across projects, providing key technical and people leadership to your own and the broader team in your field of excellence whilst also contributing to the training and development of staff and the business development and acquisition activities of the company.
