Inspection Engineer

Responsibilities:


Responsible for coordinating all inspection activities within the respective BSP assets Units in maintaining asset technical integrity and reliability of facilities and equipments such as vessels, pipeline risers, offshore topside piping and onshore piping system, etc;
Creation of Inspection Reference Plans as per the agreed inspection plan;
Assistance in maintaining BSP asset Unit Technical Integrity on the oil and gas production facilities;
Analysis of inspection data and mapping out areas of deterioration on BSP assets;
Utilisation of inspection data from the project to focus on critical areas for future inspection;
Usage of trends observed and future projections to decide on vulnerable equipment/processes that needs more regular monitoring;
Realistically generate a periodic re-inspection programme with the frequency of return inspections governed by the trends observed;
Continuously monitoring the inspection effort and actively pursue improvements in efficiency and cost effectiveness;
Carry out 'fitness for purpose' analysis and make recommendations with regard to extend of repairs;
Liaise with relevant BSP Technical Authorities where necessary for endorsement of assessments and repair recommendations/procedures;
Updating the procedures for analysis of Inspection anomalies including a thorough design review to determine system design parameters and justification for repair;
Engage BSP Corrosion Engineer in Risk Based Inspection (S-RBI) and inspection work pack preparation;
Review internal corrosion data and rates and formulate an adhoc - flow line monitoring frequency to safeguard piping and vessel integrity;
Provide input on integrity status/issues to project group as and when required;
Provides hands on training to BSP graduate field engineers periodically assigned under the Plant inspector/inspection engineer training and development programme;
Verify both on the inspection work-pack prepared by the contractor and also conduct site verification on work pack prior to execution, during and after the execution of the inspection work.

Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Materials & Corrosion or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree/related qualification and discipline;
Preferably Member of any Institute and Materials society and other approved or accredited professional bodies.

Production Support Engineer
Responsibilities:

Ensure the Project Development Plan and Project Execution Plan adequately addresses operational issues and requirements. Ensure compliance with the General Operations Philosophies and prepare the Operational Reference Plan for new projects;
Review Project Specifications, Project Execution Plans, key drawings and Detailed Design packages and highlight areas of improvement;
Manage all issues and interfaces relating to Operations readiness and Assurance, as well as highlight non-compliances to Global process;
Ensure BSP-12 'Project deliverables' guidelines are fully complied with for all new projects;
Actively engage appropriate Asset Unit Operations staff on project status and proactively seek their timely input;
Ensure that training requirements for operations personnel are identified in the Project Execution Plans and the specified training is provided;
Contribute to the preparation of the commissioning strategy and plans. Review commissioning procedures prepared by design contractor and ensure conformance with BSP-12;
Review BSP-71 Work Instructions, Asset Descriptions, Procedures, etc, prepared as part of the Project deliverables and coordinate Operations staff comments prior to document approvals;
Participate in technical reviews and pre-start-up audits.

Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline;
Minimum 6 years of Operations/Maintenance experience at supervisory level;
Preferably experience as Senior Supervisory offshore in Field Operations;
Strong background in Instrumentation and process control.
