PURCHASING ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:
Process purchase requisitions and orders
Fulfil orders placement and follow up accordingly
Liaising with Planners for purchasing needs & orders
Issuance of Purchase Order for local & overseas purchases
Liaise with suppliers on outstanding PO and update information into IT system
Work closely with internal customers to understand their needs, objectives and support required to run their operations efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum ‘O’ levels / SPM or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
Excellent communication and people skills
Positive and willing to learn, able to work independently with minimum supervision
