Our Client, a leading provider of consulting & engineering services in the areas of energy & environmental technologies, is looking for experienced professionals for their project in Thai Binh Province, North Vietnam:


1) Civil Engineer (Power Plant)

Project : 2x 300 MW (hard) coal fired power plant with FGD
Location : To be based in North Vietnam
Estimated start date : 2nd half of 2010
Assignment period : Several years
Package : Full Expat package

Primary Responsibilities (with regards to Civil Engineering discipline):
- Checking, reviewing and approving all engineering drawings/design documents and calculations by contractors,
- Site supervision for construction and installation work, ensuring work is done according to cost and schedule and meets quality and HSE requirements,
- Contribute to the training of the Client s staffs.

Secondary Responsibilities:
- Preparation of bid documents, technical and commercial evaluation of bids and contract negotiations.

Qualification Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master s/PHD would be preferable,
- 10 yrs+ experience(design & construction) in the civil engineering discipline, preferably from power plant projects,
- Must have experience in at least three 300 MW(or above) coal fired project with at least one in South East Asia.


2) Architectural Engineer (Power Plant)

Project : 2x 300 MW (hard) coal fired power plant with FGD
Location : To be based in North Vietnam
Estimated start date : 2nd half of 2010
Assignment period : Several years
Package : Full Expat package

Primary Responsibilities (with regards to Architectural Engineering discipline):

- Checking, reviewing and approving all engineering drawings/design documents and calculations by contractors,
- Site supervision for construction and installation work, ensuring work is done according to cost and schedule and meets quality and HSE requirements,
- Contribute to the training of the Client s staffs.

Secondary Responsibilities:
- Preparation of bid documents, technical and commercial evaluation of bids and contract negotiations.

Qualification Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or related field, Master s/PHD would be preferable,
- 10 yrs+ experience with extensive boiler experience(design & construction), preferably from power plant projects,
- Must have experience in at least three 300 MW(or above) coal fired project with at least one in South East Asia.
