Straits Asia Resources Ltd, and focuses on providing internal services to SARL’s coal mine project in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Due to rapid expansion in our operations, we are looking for the services of the below positions to be placed in South Kalimantan (Sebuku project).
Mining Manager
(Jakarta Raya - Kalimantan)
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in coal mining project is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Project Site.
Preferably Managers specializing in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
Has knowledge to review contract of mining contractors and monitor contractor performance.
Has knowledge to make forecast, review mine plan & design, control mining cost.
Familiar with Ms. Office, Visual Basic, Auto Cad 2005, Corel Draw 12, RockWord2004, Mincom Minescape 1.4.1.5 , Minex 4.1.J Talpac, Xpac.
Good Leadership and Good communication in English is must.

Responsibilities:
Achieve annual production targets by effectively managing contractors and employees and ensuring that sufficient resources are available to achieve the target.
Achieve safety target of zero injuries by ensuring that risks are adequately assessed, controls are identify and procedures are developed, documented and communicated to relevant contractors and employees.
Achieve environmental target of no significant incidents by ensuring that operations follow all environmental requirements and minimizing impact of operations on the environment.
Effectively leading and managing mining personnel and contractors to optimize production, safety, environmental and cost performance, and building a positive work culture.
Participates in and effectively contribute to the management of the entire mine site in order to achieve the best possible performance of the mine.
