Philips Lumileds is the process of establishing a new, high-volume compound semiconductor wafer fab in Singapore. As part of this effort, we are looking for talented individuals who would be interested in bringing up process at this new facility.

Associate Engineer, Process (Photo/Etch/ Thin Films) (Job ID : 38311)

Responsibilities:


You'll provide ongoing process support across our InGaN and AlInGaP product lines, from new process introduction through to high-volume production. You'll assume the role of Engineering Technician, with responsibilities involving interacting heavily with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel and supporting Manufacturing, including troubleshooting line issues and dispositioning lots on hold. You'll identify issues and take ownership for driving them to resolution.

In addition, you'll define and update specifications and provide training to operators. You'll also assist, advice, and train line operators. You'll be tasked to devise and run experiments for process improvement in conjunction with Engineering personnel as well as run tests and gather data, interpret results, and make recommendations. Maintain ing manufacturing techniques and best practices will also be part of your role

Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

3 years' experience in front-end wafer fab process technician support in areas including thin-film, etch, photolith, anneal, thinning, and test

Good interpersonal and analytical skills and versatile with a hands-on approach

Team player with good verbal and written communication skills in English

Ability to manipulate data in MS Excel and present data in MS Word

Independent worker with experience training peers

The candidate must be able to work night shift for this position.


2. Production Supervisor (Job ID : 45079)
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to provide first line supervision for wafer fab production to ensure production schedules are met. You will maintain a cost effective, high quality and efficient wafer fab. You will manage production WIP, moves and turns, provide analysis and recovery plan as and when required.

Requirements:
Diploma in any discipline

3 years' experience in front-end wafer fab production approach

Good interpersonal, analytical and hands-on approach

Good team player with good verbal and written communication skills.

Independent worker with experience in training peers
