Location: Johor, Miri, Malaysia

Requirements:
B.Sc in Engineering with minimum ten years of applicable experience in a similar position;
Working Knowledge of applicable industry Standards and Codes;
Formal training and past experience in auditing (Lead auditor training would be an advantage);
Experienced in development and dissemination of quality plans and procedures in a manner that is understood by all levels of the workforce;
Preferably past experience technical verfication of site works;
Fluency in spoken and written English is essential for this position;
Strong documentation skills;
Experienced in both gathering and reviewing QA statistics for trending, etc., to prevent recurrence of quality problems and provide improvement opportunities;
Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel,
Experience in the Oil & Gas Quality Assurance particularly in facility design and construction is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the site team’s QMS is being implemented effectively through a programme of internal audits and the follow-up and closure of audit findings;
Develop and maintain the site team’s QA KPI’s and issue on a monthly basis;
Focal point to map and develop procedures for new processes identified by the site team;
Carry out audits of the Contractors Quality Management System, in particular, in process audits of the project QA procedures and follow-up to closure audit findings;
Carry out audits of external subcontractors, including the initial appraisal audits;
Follow up on resolution of NCR’s, CAR’s and Observation forms;
Monitoring and auditing Contractor’s document compilation activities;
Provide input to approval process of the final documentation packages;
Provide input to project close out report;
Provide input to various team meetings, e.g., management review, QA;
Participating in Lessons Learned gathering sessions.
