PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan and is one of the largest export coal mines in the world.
In material movement terms, KPC is also one of the largest open pit mines in the world with a fleet of over 200 haul trucks and 30 shovels moving over 2 millions tones of material per day. Coal Production in 2006 was 38 million tones and there are plans for further expansion in 2007 and beyond.
An opportunity exist for a seasoned, high caliber, professional to join the Company with job assignment in Sangatta - East Kalimantan for the position of :
Senior Business Analyst (Code : SBA)
Qualifications & Experience :
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Oral & Written) in both bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Strong analytical skills.
• 5 years relevant work experience in manufacturing, mining or heavy engineering industries, encompassing a broad range of practical financial, production, maintenance, technical and people management issues.
• Tertiary qualifications (S1 degree) in Accounting, Engineering or a Business discipline.
Main elements of the position description include :
• Coordinate and assist in preparing high quality quarterly forecasts and annual Plans.
• Assist Managers and Superintendents within the operating divisions to optimize the cost efficiencies of their areas by coaching and supporting them on financial and commercial procedures and aspects of KPC business activities on an on-going basis.
• Provide accurate analysis of physical and financial data, reports and recommendations to support effective operating cost control and capital spending within the respective Divisions.
