Job Title : Support Engineer (Transmission)
Direct Manager : Competence Area Manager - RAN/Transmission

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE : SUPPORT ENGINEER (ELS)


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES :

Should have strong knowledge in Minilink E, Minilink TN and Minilink High Cap.
Working with CSR assigned, while using SCS according to global processes and procedures.
If the CSR not can be answered/solved within the time limit, escalation to GSD or other Competence Area Group within the MU ELS.
Monitoring the CSR while an answer/solution is created
Reviewing the answer/solution received from GSD/other Competence Area Group
Forwarding the answer/solution to CIC and present the answer/solution to the customer and closing of the CSR
Maintain system configuration records for SW, Market Features and Network Configurations for assigned customer
Giving guidance amongst Operation & Maintenance instructions
Implementation of proactive maintenance procedures
Assist the SDM in collecting NetQB and ISP data as well as reporting of ISP data into the ISP Statistics tool.
Performing all activities necessary to ensure In service Performance objectives for the assigned customer are achieved, such as carry out 24 hrs x 7 days Emergency / On-Call service on a weekly, rotating basis in the area of technical competence

JOB PURPOSE :
The Support Engineer shall provide the contracted customer support services according to established processes like CSR Handling and Network Configuration Management.
The Support Engineer is for assigned CSR responsible for that an answer is given to the customer within the required time limit.

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Adequate degree in telecommunications or datacom
Pertinent Experience: at least 3 years experience
Competence: Technical Support area within the Telecom or similar industry.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS : Service Delivery Organisation (Customer Interaction Center, Service Delivery Manager), External/ Internal customers, GSD.
