Server Brand Marketing Manager
(Penang - Bayan Lepas)

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent.
Candidate must be skillful in Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Priority Setting, Result-Driven and has strong business and financial acumen. He/ She must also be able to deal with ambiguity.
At least 6 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
Applicants must be a positive person, be able to multitask and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and strive towards performance and quality.
Applicants must be able to communicate and develop working relationships with different departments and cope with changes to achieve group goals.
Applicants must also exercise leadership and team work, and dedicated to meeting the requirements and expectations of internal and external customers.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Managers specializing in Marketing/Business Development with knowledge in servers or storage.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the Tower Server Business for the South Asia Relationship sales segment.

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, execution and tracking of sales and marketing plans to achieve the quarterly and long-term financials goals for the business.

Principal Responsibilities :

-Supports Sales to achieve FY0x quarterly business plan for revenue & margin for the line of business (LOB).
-Drive to achieve defined market premiums for the business.
-Work with the extended LOB matrix to obtain consensus and then develop quarterly marketing programs to meet the needs of the business.
-Track the programs on an on-going basis to ensure effective execution.
-Build internal and external brand awareness.
-Responsible for weekly reporting of the product performance.
-Ability to analyze various reports to determine performance status, pin-point areas of concern and devise effective recovery analysis.
-Develop and drive programs to get business objectives and financials back on-track.
-Create outlook and bridge analysis.
-Assess and ensure a detailed understanding of the products, the LOB P&L and customer requirements for the relationship sales segments within South Asia.
-Pro-actively analyze the LOB market using multiple data sources (IDC, Gartner, Form Factor Data, Price-Banding charts, etc.) and recommend strategies to improve and optimize the LOB performance.
The analysis should include:
Recommendations on improving LOB performance with currently shipping products.
Recommendations on strategizing any future products needed to become more competitive.
Own and drive the product and solution promotion bundles on a monthly basis.
Work on promotional pricing in close co-ordination with the pricing and product teams
Provide support for marcom and online.
Perform competitive analysis to ensure effectiveness and relevance of all programs being driven.
Gather market intelligence and competitor street pricing in the SA region.
Work with the Marketing teams to provide thought leadership in content where appropriate.
Own and drive the sales consistency and training calendar for the LOB.
Engage with under performing sales reps to diagnose issues and propose improvement options.
Drive Sales trainings, resolve sales queries and escalate product issues to the relevant teams.
Responsible for first line sales & ASG support on product escalations.
Ensure constant alignment with the APJ Management and CoC teams.
