West Natuna Exploration Limited, a dynamic international energy company is looking for a candidate, possessing leadership potential to join our multi-disciplinary exploration team, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

1.Senior Exploration Geologist

The successful candidate will :- An Indonesian Citizen, domiciled in Jakarta.
- Possess a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Geology or Geosciences.
- Demonstrate a minimum five years experience in a similar role.
- Prior knowledge in Natuna basin is preferred.
- Have a proven capability to work independently, under pressure.
- Have well developed organisation and operational skills.
- Have proven strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Possess a good working knowledge and experience with a suite of geoscience software’s.

Duties & Responsibilities of the position include:
- Supervise and coordinate the geological activities on company operated and non-operated assets in West Natuna Sea, Indonesian and Asia-Pacific region.
- Be responsible for all geological interpretation work - including defining prospects & lead inventories and to define reserve calculations and economics on our West Natuna sea concessions and any new ventures.
- Define, specify and manage any geological projects.
- Interface, when required, with various Indonesia regulatory bodies in order to submit reports and gain timely governmental approvals.
- The Senior Geologist is expected to be a “hand-on” person being involved in any sequence stratigraphy, geochemical, petrophysical or regional interpretation work.
- Preparation & implementation of cost estimates, AFE’s, Work Program & Budgets, technical and reserve economics reports.
- Responsible for the day to day Geological requirements
- Interface with company and specialist third-parties specialists to ensure geological activities are consistent with company objectives.



2.Senior Geophysicist

The successful candidate will :
- An Indonesian Citizen, domiciled in Jakarta.
- Possess a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Geophysics or Geosciences.
- Demonstrate a minimum five years experience in a similar role.
- Possess expertise on Geophysical Interpretation Skills.
- Have a proven capability to work independently, under pressure.
- Have well developed organisation and operational skills.
- Have proven strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Must have an extensive knowledgeable of Indonesia basins.
- Possess a good working knowledge and experience with a suite of geoscience software’s.

Duties & Responsibilities of the position include:

- The Senior Geologist is expected to be a “hand-on” person being involved in any 2D or 3D seismic interpretation work.
- Preparation & implementation of cost estimates, AFE’s, Work Program & Budgets, technical and reserve economics reports.
- Responsible for the day to day/ Geophysical requirements
- Interface with company and specialist third-parties specialists to ensure geophysical activities are consistent with company objectives.
