Candidates must have the relevant MASTER'S Degree in their respective fields plus 4 years of teaching experience at College/University level after completing their Masters; or 2 years of college teaching experience after completing Doctorate Degree. Engineering: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATIONS, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRICAL POWER, CIVIL, ARCHITECTURE, CHEMICAL, PHYSICS, OIL & GAS, CHEMICAL, GEODETIC/LAND SURVEYING, QUANTITY SURVEYING, INDUSTRIAL, MECHATRONICS

Science: PHYSICS, PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY & PATHOLOGY, PHYSIOLOGY, ECOLOGY/ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY

Candidate is a graduate with Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in English or Applied Linguistics; or professional qualification in TEFL, TESL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA or any related certification from a recognized organization. Must have minimum three (3) years English teaching experience. Preferably with hands-on experience in multi-media teaching, self-access methods, assessment, course design and testing.


VOCATIONAL SECTION HEAD INSTRUCTOR
Colleges of Technology, Vocational Section under the Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman are looking for Heads of Department in the following fields. Candidate must have good communication skills (English medium of Instruction); Bachelor's Degree with 11 years of work experience after Bachelor's, or Master's Degree with 8 years of work experience after completing Master's in relevant field; and willing to join September 2007.

ELECTRONICS, ELECTRICAL, AIRCONDITIONING & REFRIGERATION, or WELDING w/ MECHANICAL BACKGROUND


VOCATIONAL SECTION INSTRUCTOR
Colleges of Technology, Vocational Section under the Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman are looking for Instructors in the following fields. Candidate must have good communication skills (English medium of Instruction); Diploma (Vocational or Associate) Degree with 11 years of work experience after completing Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of work experience after completing Bachelor's in relevant field; and willing to join September 2007.

MATHEMATICS; PHYSICS; ELECTRICAL WIRING (FOR DOMESTIC & COMMERCIAL); ELECTRONICS w/ MECHATRONICS; WELDING & SHEET METAL FABRICATION; or AUTOMOBILE - BODYWORK, DENTS & PAINTING
