Overall purpose of job
The position is to:
- provide end-to-end solution for each regional project;
- act a single point of contact for the regional Project Manager;
- ensure quality and on-time project delivery for Regions and their customers
- increase the bandwidth of Solution Group to undertake new projects.
Main activities / tasks
To oversee the end-to-end design and architecture of Welcome’s multi-platform products.
- Produce functional, technical and design specifications
- Design Welcome’s off-the-shelf products and solutions
- Develop test plans for the continual validation of Welcome’s products
- Collaborates with other parts of the Company worldwide, to define and implement Welcome’s product
Special requirements (tools and equipment used, external contacts, etc)
- At least 5 years working experience in various platforms including Sun Solaris, Linux and Windows
- Technical background on POS (point-of-sale) / ECR (electronic cash register) network infrastructure

Part 2 : JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and skills
• Working experience in software product development; should have gone through at least 1 software product development cycle
• Hands-on experience across the spectrum of Web and J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSPs, EJBs, XML, HTTP)
• At least 3 years design experience in a J2EE development environment
• Experience with Oracle database is an added bonus
• Ability, flexibility and eagerness to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple development projects concurrently with customers worldwide
• Ability to work in an international environment with teams located in other continents
• Experience in retail payment industry is essential
Education, qualifications, and special training
• Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Science in Computer Technology, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
• Master Degree in Computer Technology, Engineering or Information Technology
Experience
• 5 -6 years' working experience
Personality requirements
• Creative and inquisitive
• Autonomous and thorough
• Passionate in finding a good solution for a given challenge
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.
Required skill(s): SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT, ELECTRONIC CASH REGISTER, FINANCIALS.
Preferred skill(s): JAVA, J2EE, POS.
At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Managers specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
